I also tried 'remove device' and after a reboot, reinserted it where after a few seconds it recognized the device.but again as a HID keyboard. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.Ģ- No success from the driver fix (which was one of the same steps also on the SDR# website)ģ- When I initially plugged the SDR into the USB port I do believe it did see it. I have also looked at the files and do not know what, and if any files I should run to find a solution to my problem. The computer store (MicroCenter) where I purchased the SDRs also supplied a CD.
I believe that the problem I am currently experiencing with Windows 10, is that the computer "sees" the SDR as a keyboard (HID device). I had to download and install the Zadig V2.3 to be able to install the WinUSB driver for Bulk In, Interface 0 successfully. I also did not have initial success with the version of Zadig that was installed via running the install-rtlsdr.bat file. (I did have some problems with the SDR# steps for downloading the RelWithDebInfo.zip file: the install-rtlsdr.bat did not fully load the file, I ended up finding the file on the Osmocom website and have placed it in the appropriate directory (which is also not a read-only folder and is not in the Program Files folder). This also included the steps for the driver update/replace. I have followed the directions on the Adafruit/ and also the SDR# website on installing the software for the SDR. I have as of yet been unable to get the SDR to work properly.
